breeze
this series of monochrome and minimalist abstracts, depicts “breeze” both literally and metaphorically. the paintings are abstract expressionist drawings of weeds and twigs floating freely in the wind, which seem as if scribbled swiftly and lightly just as the blow of a gentle breeze. the works bear countless tones of a single color, painted in layer upon layer, creating a volume approximating a glyph.
