fairy tales in abstract
We have all grown up with fairy tales which enchanted, entertained, taught or frightened us; widened our imagination and filled our hearts with joy and hope; in which magic and miracles happen, exciting adventures take place and in the end, the good always wins and lives happily ever after!...
... and in this series, I am telling my version of fairy tales; by painting several layers of color with free brush strokes, using mixed media to achieve a three-dimensional presence, and by repetition to accentuate the single, crucial aspect which reminds of or defines the story.
